5 Minutes With A Left Handed Fake Rolex GMT-Master II 126720VTNR

The new GMT-Master II reference 126720VTNR is certainly the most debated watch of 2022.

GMT-Master II 126720VTNR Review: A Controversial Watch

The new GMT-Master II “Sprite” green bezel for left-handers is basically identical to those we’ve known for years, either in the latest Pepsi version of 2018, or in the second Batman with Jubilee bracelet. (PS: this Rolex was immediately available with both Oyster and Jubilee bracelets).

Although I had a doubt at first, this watch features the same case as the standard GMT-Master II with the crown on the right. It was simply rotated 180 °. The only changes are to have turned Caliber 3285 the same way, and to have engraved the 31 days on the mirror date disc so that they would not appear upside down in the window at 9 o’clock.

Being a light review, I will not comment on its characteristics and quality: among other things, they are the same as the other GMT-Master II in Oystersteel.

Opinions

Comfort is excellent, although in my case, wearing the watch to the left, a left-handed Fake Rolex GMT-Master II 126720VTNR doesn’t make much sense.

Of course, for many who, even if they are not left-handed, wear the watch on their right wrist just out of habit or because they have seen someone who does it. However left or right, wearing a Rolex for left-handed people is like walking around with a unicorn on a leash: you will certainly never go unnoticed. If you take it to the left it will destroy your shirt cuffs 100% – but what do you want it to be after than to buy it, if you want it now, you have to shell out 55,000 Euros, because so many more or less ask for it from unofficial dealers and private individuals.

The specimen you see was paid for at a list price (10,550 Euros) by a true enthusiast to be collected, not to be sold at jackal prices.

The official Fake Rolex dealer who sold it to him, one of the three largest in Milan, received only three; he delivered it peeled and made Mr. Destro swear that he would never resell it.

But now a doubt arises. Why so many precautions? Why did Rolex build a left-handed GMT-Master II?

Because he knew that with this brilliant idea, I must admit he would have created yet another object of desire but – contrary to his usual declarations of wanting to cut the legs of the parallel market, instead he fomented it further.

Try to see how many new and used watch websites there are. In one, I counted 77 from all over the world.

Then go and explain to those who paid 50,000 euros “with the discount” when it drops to 20,000. With due proportions, this is what happened in 2007 with the then just released Rolex Migauss 116400GV, with green glass: there are those who, in order to have it immediately, paid 20,000 Euros (15 years ago) and until before it began ” the bubble ”struggled to sell it for 6,000. Now in these crazy times he may be making double that, however he is always at a loss.

In watchmaking, the past matters a lot, and Rolex should be recognized not only for the fortuitous coincidence of being born just when the watch was migrating from the pocket to the wrist. But of having put so much body and soul into that situation to give birth to inventions that they managed to make his wristwatches so usable, not to fear comparisons. For dozens of years no other brand has even managed to come close to the performance of a Rolex.

But I am convinced that if Hans Wilsdorf, the man who founded Rolex were still alive, everything we see would not happen. Other than waiting lists of years and prices of the parallel X3, X4 times the price list.
