Fake Audemars Piguet Royal Oak 34 mm: A small premiere in white
These new Fake Audemars Piguet Royal Oak 34 millimeter models are a first. The family company is using white ceramic for the case and strap for the first time. The rose gold elements of the dial add colorful accents. We took a look at the little sisters of the big Royal Oak.
Ceramic for the Royal Oak
The new Audemars Piguet Royal Oak 34 mm Automatic with a white ceramic case and strap is not the first of its kind at AP. Since its debut, the classic launched in 1972 has produced almost countless variants, including some in ceramic. In 2017, a completely black Royal Oak with a perpetual calendar attracted particular attention, with ceramic dominating the entire external appearance.
Compared to stainless steel, the original material of this model, the production of the ceramic link bracelet alone takes five times as long. In this respect, the price of 91,800 euros for the reference 26579CE.OO.1225CE.01 was not surprising. The highlight: Anyone who managed to get hold of a copy at the official retail price can now get twice as much or even more for this technically complex black beauty.
When current CEO François Bennahmias (who explains the successful AP strategy very well in a remarkable interview with Uhrenkosmos) introduced this wristwatch, Jasmine and Olivier Audemars stressed that this watch would definitely not be put in the new company museum. The board of directors initially did not really believe that ceramic would be a success. They also considered ceramic for the case and strap not classy enough.
