On the contrary, the designers of the brand have not touched the layout in the least, but have instead brought substantial interventions to the case, now equipped with protective shoulders like the pure sportsmen of the family.

We talked about the new caliber, and it was rather obvious that Rolex would update the movement by aligning the new model to the current generation of sportsmen. New Rolex replica watches GMT-Master II reference 126720 left-handed

One of the new models presented by Rolex on March 30, 2022 is the brand’s milestone Oyster Perpetual Day-Date 40, which was crafted in 950 platinum, a material characterized by exceptional luminosity and brilliance. New Rolex Yacht-Master 42

Rolex launches the new Oyster Perpetual Yacht-Master 42 version, now also in 18-karat yellow gold, particularly shiny and sparkling. New Rolex Datejust 31

Rolex presents three new versions of the Rolex replica watches Datejust 31 with dials decorated with floral motifs. The new motif features 24 different flowers that take on a specific shade depending on the version.

New Rolex Yacht-Master 40 reference 26679 SABR

With its Rainbow Daytona model, Rolex has accustomed us to particularly luxurious models that make extensive use of precious stones and which over the years have become authentic objects of desire and collector’s items, although they are rather questionable or, in any case, little related to the European taste. We are again in that period of the year when the MONOCHROME team makes predictions for the next Rolex models. It should be emphasized that, this year, the new Rolex 2022 products will finally be presented live at replica watches & Wonders, in Geneva. And, as the fair approaches (officially kicks off on March 30th), we’re ready to enjoy a range of new models. It is no mystery that the most anticipated of the year remain the Rolex novelties. Exactly as we have done from 2014 to today, we have also worked this year on the best forecasts of the future Rolex collection.

Guessing the new models that Rolex could present – first at Baselworld and then at replica watches & Wonders – is a ritual for us at MONOCHROME. It is a project we love and it is highly anticipated by our readers. Over the years, the project aimed at identifying Rolex news has grown in commitment and quality of content, but we continue to have fun, discuss, predict and imagine potential Rolex innovations as if it were always the first time.

It is a project that requires a lot of work in Photoshop to offer renders that are as close to reality as possible. The process starts with the exploration of the current collections and analyzes the brand’s strategy in order to build a plausible scenario. Obviously, we cannot think that Rolex will launch a new Explorer this year or plan to redesign the Submariner collection from scratch. There is a logic behind the launch of the new Rolex products and it is the same one we adopt when we build the Rolex 2022 predictions.

Looking at the less popular collections (an adjective now largely outdated when it comes to Rolex) or the models that have not yet been updated with the latest generation of 32XX series movements, here are the Rolex innovations that, in our opinion, the brand could reasonably present to replica watches & Wonders 2022.

Rolex 2022 Predictions – A new generation of Rolex Milgauss 2022 (126400GV) equipped with far superior resistance to magnetic fields

One of the last Rolex replica watches to still feature a 31XX generation caliber is still the Milgauss, the current generation of which dates back as far as 2007. In 2014, Rolex launched the Z-blue variant with a blue dial. If this option is excluded, the Milgauss has been excluded from the Rolex innovations of recent years. The time has come for a new collection, and for various reasons. First of all, the watch marks the step compared to the rest of the range already aesthetically, that is, observing the proportions between case, lugs and bezel. Secondly, the movement he adopts still belongs to the older generation.

Finally, an even more relevant issue, resistance to magnetic fields, the technical argument underlying the model’s DNA, is the area in which Rolex has been largely surpassed by Omega with its Master Chronometer certification. We therefore expect Rolex to react strongly by presenting a vastly improved product in terms of resistance to magnetic fields. This could also result in an update of the name “Milgauss” (whose name derives from the French “thousand gauss”), which represents the level of magnetic resistance that the watch is now able to resist, a figure that has remained unchanged since its launch. back in 1954; however, the current name would be inadequate in view of the future technical characteristics of the product. Nonetheless, we believe that the name Milgauss should absolutely be preserved.

Rolex has already begun experimenting with Master Chronometer certification with Tudor, offering technology that combines COSC certification with impressive resistance to magnetism. It could therefore represent the natural guideline for the Milgauss 2022. At first glance, we believe that Rolex can adapt the caliber 3230 with new antimagnetic parts capable of raising the resistance up to the 15,000 gauss required by METAS, thus eliminating the need to mount a cage. soft iron interior.

We prefer to think of something more daring and we have a great innovation in mind: a movement that has no limits and that is entirely non-magnetic. With this adjective, we mean a movement that is not affected in the least by any magnetic field, whatever its intensity. It would be an unprecedented and completely new milestone in watchmaking, as well as a way for Rolex to reaffirm its leadership in research and development.

As for the design, we were instead more conservative in imagining our Rolex Milgauss 2022 126400GV. The case would start from the base of an Oyster Perpetual 41, with a slightly larger diameter but thinner proportions (lugs and bezel) than the current reference 116400GV. By no longer relying on any internal cage to resist magnetic fields, the case would consequently be thinner than the current one. As for the dial, our Rolex Milgauss 2022 126400GV replicates the brand’s most recent aesthetic codes, such as the double index albeit combined with the classic orange color, the lightning-shaped seconds hand and the attractive green colored sapphire crystal. And, since the Milgauss is a professional model, we would like the case and bracelet, including links, to be entirely brushed.

Rolex 2022 Predictions – The Rolex Air King 2022 goes back to basics

The Rolex Oyster Perpetual Air-King was appreciated for its sobriety within the brand’s offering. Simple, robust and sporty, the Air-King has long occupied its place alongside the Oyster Perpetual and Explorer. However, since 2016 this model has occupied a new and singular role. And we believe the time has come to change and become part of the Rolex 2022 novelties. There are several reasons why the current Air-King 116900 should change. Firstly, it adopts an obsolete design case and mounts the caliber 3131. Secondly, the new dial did not guarantee the expected commercial success. The current Air-King draws inspiration from the instrument panel made by Rolex for the experimental vehicle Bloodhound SSC but the partnership has long since ended.

Our new Air-King collection represents a return to origins. Historically, the Rolex Air-King was the entry-level watch with a 34 mm case and sportier appeal than the classic Oyster Perpetual. Most of us will remember the popular models in the 90s with applied Arabic numerals 3-6-9, as in the case of the Explorer. Here is how we imagined the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Air King 2022. First of all, in order to fill a void now present in the collection, we would like an Air King with a 39 mm case, positioned halfway between the 36 mm Explorer 124270 and the Oyster Perpetual 124300 of 41mm. The watch marries the current stylistic language thus adopting a thinner bezel and narrower and more curved lugs.

The dial of our new Rolex Air-King 2022 also approaches the style of the original version. We therefore imagine it in a less professional guise than an Explorer, but still sporty and more sober than a Rolex OP. Rolex Air King is, after all, a model born for aviation. It is the reason why we imagine discreet color tones, such as the dark blue of the images you see, far from the vivid colors of the most recent OPs. As in the past, the Rolex Air King 2022 adopts traditional baton hands and the characteristic 3-6-9 applied indexes, treated with luminescent material. Inside, the new caliber 3230 should fit.

Since Frank, our founder, strongly desires a “Polar White” version of the new Air-King, and at the same time we are certain that Rolex would never give the Explorer a white dial, we have added the variant with a white dial, which works as well. in our opinion.

Rolex 2022 Predictions – Rolex Yacht Master 42 Titanium 2022 Oysterflex No Date

A few months ago we accidentally discovered a very unique prototype (first discovered by Jake of Rolex Magazine); it is a titanium edition of the Yacht-Master 42, worn by Sir Ben Ainslie. Rolex never adopted titanium for one of its replica watches, at least until the discovery of this prototype, a Yacht Master No-Date with a matte titanium case. It seems that Rolex is progressively returning to its origins by creating experimental replica watches, testing instrument-replica watches in real conditions of use. Ainslie has been spotted on more than one occasion with this particular watch on her wrist, including the recent Prada Cup 2021. The watch in question was a special version on a white gold YM base, crafted from an alloy called RLX Titanium, featuring a matte dial and without date.

After discovering this watch in action, we imagined a potential variation destined for the general public. We are faced with what could represent the first titanium watch ever marketed by Rolex, that is a sporty and more sober Yacht-Master 42 Titanium. We imagined it like this: 42 mm case in matte and rather dark titanium, but identical in shape and proportions to the variant in white gold. We have left the classic matte bezel with relief scale and numbers unchanged. On the time-only dial, we have provided a matte tone and spheres matched to the color and material of the case.

Inside, we expect the classic Rolex caliber 3230, already shared with the Submariner 124060. To complete the watch’s nautical and racing vocation, this version would include the Oysterflex strap: we don’t believe that Rolex introduces a fabric NATO strap… The Rolex Yacht-Master 42 Titanium No-Date would further the sporting credentials of the Yacht-Master collection, further distinguishing it from the Submariner.

Rolex 2022 predictions – 10th Anniversary Rolex Sky-Dweller 2022 Platinum

Sky-Dweller, the most complicated watch ever conceived by Rolex, turns the buoy this year of the first ten years of life. Launched in 2012, this model combines a GMT function and an annual calendar, operated by the ingenious “Ring Command” system, which is operated via the rotating bezel. With eleven patents and multiple views, the beauty of a Sky-Dweller lies in the unique mix of complex mechanics and ease of use.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of this high-end model, we imagined it in platinum, the most precious metal, used on the case, bezel and bracelet. And, as the Rolex tradition dictates, we have combined it with a blue dial. If Rolex were to introduce such a model, expect a list price of over sixty thousand euros and a limited production, as with most of the current platinum Rolexes.

We do not expect any other updates to the 10th Anniversary Platinum Edition Rolex Sky-Dweller. The dials of the collection were in fact updated in 2017 with the launch of the steel and Rolesor models and do not need any retouching. In our opinion, success is guaranteed with this blue dial.

Rolex predictions 2022 – Rolex GMT MASTER 2 2022 Coke Bezel 126710RONR

This mockup responds more to a desire than to pure logic. We hope this topic offers some insights into the Rolex creative team. While many would welcome the return of the all-black bezel on the GMT-Master II, it is well known that the model will always be available exclusively with the two-tone bezel; this is what we learned from Rolex at the launch of the Pepsi which at the same time marked the end of production of the black variant. The collection provides for the steel models, as is known, the black and blue option 126710BLNR and the red and blue option 126710BLRO, or Rolex Batman and Rolex Pepsi, respectively, on a Jubilee or Oyster bracelet.

We would love to see Rolex reopen this chapter, bringing to life the historic black and red bezel nicknamed “Coke” by collectors. If we exclude the new color scheme, which obviously includes the red GMT hand, the potential 126710RONR would be identical to the BLNR and BLRO models, therefore with a 40 mm steel case, black dial and caliber 3285.

Another possible option for the GMT Master Coke could be the variant with a white gold case; would replace the GMT Master Pepsi in white gold with blue dial reference 126719 BLRO. In doing so, the only Pepsi in white gold would be the one with a silver meteorite dial.

Rolex 2022 predictions – Rolex Submariner 2022 Date in Rolesor with green dial and bezel 126613LV

Our forecasts of Rolex news are also an opportunity to imagine possible combinations and models never conceived before. We know how Rolex is generally a rather conservative brand but on some occasions it has shown great courage. The brand has been playing with materials and color combinations for some time now; to complete the Submariner Date collection launched in 2020, we imagined a brand new variant in Rolesor (steel and gold) to be paired with the current Blue Rolesor 126613LB and Black Rolesor 126613LN. We chose, for our fictional reference 126613LV, a steel and gold (yellow) case with a green ceramic bezel and matching green dial, a way to evoke the legendary Rolex Hulk 116610LV.

We believe that while this combination of a Rolesor case and bracelet with a green dial and bezel is bold, it is all in all in line with the brand’s most recent launches. For the rest, our Rolex Submariner Date 126613LV 2022 proposal keeps intact all the features of the Submariner collection launched in 2020, such as the movement, case and bracelet.

Rolex 2022 predictions – Rolex Daytona 2022 Rolesor with ceramic bezel 116513LN

We conclude the review of our forecasts with a Daytona that, frankly, has been expected for a few years: the Daytona 2022 Rolesor in ceramic. Along the lines of the collection launched in 2016 with the 116500LN stainless steel variant, including the gold and platinum variants with a contrasting ceramic bezel, we thought this configuration would soon affect the steel and gold versions as well… but that hasn’t happened so far, despite giving a decidedly more modern look to the Rolesor Daytona.

Starting from the classic reference 116503, it takes very little to make the steel and gold Daytona more attractive: just add the same ceramic bezel found on the gold versions, leaving everything else unchanged. The gold would remain on the crown, buttons, central links of the bracelet. The black ceramic bezel would give the Daytona Rolesor a decidedly more contemporary look.
