Replica Audemars Piguet Royal Oak “Jumbo” Extra-Thin Openworked in a new version
The Openworked model was also among the entire range of the anniversary Royal Oak. Hand in hand with the new aesthetics was a new skeleton automatic movement. Replica Audemars Piguet replica watches
Sports, integrated watches are usually characterized by simplicity – at least in the dimension of the dial. One glance at the new model “Jumbo” Extra-Thin Ref. 16202 allows you to enjoy the minimalism of the form, the purity of the composition and the lack of unnecessary elements. In this context, some variants of the Royal Oak seem to go against the tide of the minimalist concept. Fortunately, AP knows how to balance design and even a model as aesthetically complex as “Jumbo” Openworked looks just good. In the new version, the skeleton RO has undergone several modifications. A member of the jubilee line, prepared for the 50th anniversary of the Royal Oak collection, the “Jumbo” Extra-Thin Openworked model has undergone a facelift in a dimension similar to other models. First of all, the watch is equipped with the new automatic caliber 7124, a variant of the caliber 7121 from the “Jumbo” Extra-Thin model. Werk is partially skeletonized, has a power reserve of 57 hours and a 4 Hz balance, mounted on a full bridge. Depending on the case version (more about it in a moment), the bridges of the movement are covered with silver or dark gray rhodium plating. As the mechanism is based on the 7121, it has similar technical solutions, including a pair of gold bridges supporting the balance and the spring drum, a rotor that works effectively in both directions of rotation, and a new balance. The key difference of this version of the mechanism is the widely applied skeleton, which removes as much material as possible from selected components, while maintaining full functionality and durability. AP’s experience in this art dates back decades (specifically, the 1930s), and while it is not considered a complication, the level of difficulty certainly deserves it. Needless to say, the skeleton and other components of the watch are hand-decorated on both sides, so that the decoration can be seen from the caseback and dial. In addition, there is a jubilee rotor made of 22c gold, with the “50 Years” logo cut out.
Royal Oak “Jumbo” Extra-Thin Openworked will be available in two versions. The first is made of steel, the second is made of 18 ct rose gold. In both, the transparent dial is reduced to a narrow minute ring, a pair of gold hands and hour indices made of the same metal – both with a luminous one. This time, an important element of the composition is the spring drum, with the main spring visible. The AP logo is applied to the underside of the sapphire glass. The envelopes are 39 mm in diameter and 8.1 mm in thickness. They are finished with satin finish with polished details, both on the casing and the bracelet.
The steel model RO Openworked Ref. 16204ST was valued at EUR 86,800 (~ PLN 397,000). The gold variant – Ref. 16204OR – will cost EUR 113,300 (~ PLN 518,000). Watches are not subject to a specific limit, but due to their complexity, they will be produced in limited quantities. Replica Audemars Piguet
Royal Oak Selfwinding Openworked Tourbillon
If, however, the skeletonized RO “Jumbo” did not satisfy your watchmaking taste, Audemars Piguet prepared another Openworked reference, even more complicated. The Ref. 26735 ST is a steel wrapped (41mm diameter) new automatic caliber with a flying tourbillon (without top bridge). The movement number 2972, apart from the balance spinning in the cage, has a power reserve of 65 h, clock speed at 4 Hz and, occasionally, a rotor. The entire movement is rhodium-plated. How much does such a watchmaker’s extravagance cost? The price was set at EUR 218,200 (~ PLN 997,000).
