Pasha de Replica Cartier

Refurbished in 2020, it was declined in a chronograph version in 2021. Unexpectedly, the Pasha de Cartier collection is extended with an impressive series of complications,

some unexpected such as models with moon phases or flying tourbillons, for example. It is undoubtedly the highlight of the French brand,

at least among men’s watches.

Pasha de Cartier Grille

The model has a noble predecessor, it is the namesake from 1943 today preserved by the maison. The grid, which recalls the first field watches and has an evident protection function, returns to the current time only in the yellow gold version.

In the larger version it measures 41 mm and, interestingly, the grille can be removed from its seat, transforming it into a traditional yellow gold Pasha, thanks to a quick release system using four pawls. From the first printed images, the grid seems well sized and able to ensure sufficient visibility.

Pasha de Cartier Phases of the Moon

It is probably the most unexpected and one of the most interesting Pasha of the new collection. The contrast between the pure and geometric shape of the dial and the moon phase complication stands out in the Moon Phases Pasha. The seat that houses the moon phases has the shape of a planisphere, inside which a circle with the moon phase mechanism is inserted.

In my opinion, the aesthetic result is remarkable and well integrated into the design. The Pasha Moonphase is powered by the Cartier 1904 LU MC caliber and is available in both yellow gold and steel.

Pasha de Cartier Skeleton

Cartier’s skeletonized watches are among the finest and the maison adds a new variation to the Pasha dictionary,

albeit with some new features compared to the existing model. The case is in steel coated in black ADLC (Amorphous Diamond Like Carbon),

a choice I don’t approve of when it comes to high-end watches; I prefer the adoption of a metal without any treatment, as Replica Cartier already does brilliantly with steel or gold.

Still on a 41mm case, the Pasha Skeleton caliber 9624 MC but offers a small novelty shared with the moon phase version:

both offer a wide luminescence well represented by this image.

Pasha de Cartier Flying Tourbillon

At the top of the offer is the spectacular version with a flying tourbillon,

one of the best iterations of the 9552 MC caliber with the C-shaped cage.

In this case, the dial is understandably more refined,

with indexes and Arabic numerals applied in gold as well as the continuous seconds ring and small parts.

Santos Dumont XL

Replica Cartier has launched several limited editions of the manual-winding Santos Dumont since launch. All hand-wound models feature the Piaget-derived caliber 430 MC, ideal for an ultra-thin watch.

The 2022 limited series includes a variant in steel, one in yellow gold and one in platinum. The novelty compared to the models of the past is constituted by a burgundy, beige or black lacquering process.

Tank Louis Cartier Red and Gray

There are three novelties in the Tank family, renewed in 2021. Exactly one year after the launch of the collection, Cartier imagines the Tank in two dial colors whose texture was,

according to the brand, obtained by means of an innovative electrochemical engraving technique. The reference, or rather the source of inspiration, remains the original Must de Cartier collection.

The red dial is lacquered, the gray one is obtained through a galvanic process. The Roman numerals have been reduced to the bare minimum and recall,

in addition to simplifying the dial, other Replica Cartier collections, creating a sort of family feeling between the collections.
