The Fake Rolex novelties 2024
For weeks and months, watch portals and blogs have been annoying us with wild speculation, exploiting every little rumor and creating photo montages of possible fake rolex innovations for 2020 – without having a shred of reliable information. Since an official Rolex teaser on social media, watch lovers now have official certainty – despite all the adversities in 2020, Rolex has, among other things, a new Oyster Perpetual with a 41 mm case and drum roll a new Submariner in store.
However, the cancellation of Baselworld 2020 due to the coronavirus has exposed all the business failings of the MCH trade fair management in recent years, and the subsequent divorce war between the trade fair management and Rolex & Co. actually put a big question mark over the Rolex novelties in 2020. Ultimately, however, Rolex also had other problems: Production in Geneva was at a standstill for two whole months due to COVID-19.
Despite all adversities, the Rolex Submariner received a visual and technical update in 2020, after eight years. In typical Rolex fashion, however, the Geneva-based company is focusing on evolution rather than revolution: the basic design of the Submariner has essentially remained unchanged and is still very close to the original design of the Submariner from the 1950s (the careful model maintenance is certainly a key factor in Rolex’s secret of success).
Of course, the highly polished ceramic (Cerachrom) diving bezel that was introduced on the Submariner in 2012 has also been retained – and this is where the biggest innovation can be found: In addition to the “standard” Submariner (Date / NoDate) with a black bezel inlay and black dial, there is now also a version with a green bezel inlay and black dial, which replaces the “Hulk” Submariner (with a green dial and green bezel).
